Lean Startup Methodologies Do Not Take Advantage of an Enterprise's Strengths

Many large organizations seek to drive innovation by adopting methods like the Lean Startup model. But, this methodology was developed for small organizations looking to scale quickly with limited available resources. Using Lean methodologies in an enterprise could mean that the biggest strengths of the enterprise—its resources, its scale, its influence—may be underused. For innovation to succeed in the enterprise, teams should be able to take advantage of the scale of the organization and its assets.
